Painted Hollow Farm
Poynette PathMakers

Welcome to the Poynette PathMakers. We are a small 4-H group that is just starting out and we are located in Poynette Wisconsin. We are a very open group to any project you choose and will be doing alot of fun things throughout the year. Some of those things could be bon-fires, corn mazes, a bake sale, attending horse shows, camping and so many other fun things. If you would like to join our group and learn some new things that would be great. You don't have to live in the country or on a farm to join. You don't even have to have a pet or a farm animal. There are alot of choices for you if you are animal free. If you do have a chance to be involved with animals your animal choices range from dogs & cats to farm animals. If you would like more information please e-mail me and I will answer all your questions.

Refreshments!
I figured since we are still so small we will do the "Bring your own snack/drink" to the meeting. It might be this way for a while till our enrollment numbers start to grow.

By-Laws
I am working on them and they should be up on the page here by the December's meeting.

Leaders List
Again I am working on this and right now there is just me. If we get any project leaders their names will be posted along with contact information and their projects.

Fundrasiers, community service and group outings
As far a fundrasier goes we will probaly do a spring bake sale at the Pig in Poynette.

For the members that are in horseless horse and vet science we will be taking a tour of a local vet clinic.

For horseless horse we will also visit the Arlington Tack Swap. They will have a couple of seminars that the members can sit in on and learn some things. At these tack swaps they sell just about everything. So even if you don't own a horse you can still find some fun things. Like for example Breyer horses, My Little Ponies, clothes, jackets, pictures, etc... Hopefully we can get the kids out to our farm to work a little with the horses and learn some safety and fun things about horses.

Photo and ScrapBooking

As a group we will be doing photo and scrapbooking. We thought it would be a fun group project. This is a great way to share our pictures, scrapbooks, ideas and to get to know each other better. Everyone is eligible to put their best photos in the Columia County fair.
We will also make a scrapbook for the club. Everyone is invited to make their own special page to put into it. We want this to be an ongoing thing from year to year. It will be fun to look back and see the years before.
We will also have 2 sites for your photos. One will be an online album that only members have access to. This is just your favorite pictures that you want to share. You can leave a little detail about each picture. It will be everyone's own album within a giant group album.
The second site is for your creative inspirations. This is an actual on-line scrapbook. The scrapbooks that you create can either be kept private (for your eyes only and those you would like to include) or a public viewing (where the whole world can see your creation, photos and such).
Marci and I will encourage everyone to use internet safety when it comes to all this. Never give any information about WHO YOU ARE! We will go over internet safety at the next meeting and probaly stress it at all future meetings.
As we set these sites up we will give everyone the site address and also have links here to access it.

Just a note for all our members and future members as our club gets organized with more activities and we see our paths that lie ahead of us this website will continue to change and grow. If there are things you think we should have on here or things that we missed or made a mistake on let us know. We need the feedback. We will eventually get to the point where we will have a private online photo album. You will need to be a member to access it and it will not be for public viewing only within our club. We will do this to keep our kids safe from prying eyes.
