Enjoying the rain
Hi, Well it here it goes. Never did this before. I am starting today my own blog. My Mom says it will improve my writting skills. Well, we will see about that. Since it is raining really hard and there are storms all over Wisconsin and everyone is flooded. I though I would share with you the water running through our waterway and how much fun our dogs had in it. They Labs, Goldens and Cathaoulas. I got wet all the way up to my belly button playing with them. My Mom would scream everytime they would shake because they liked to shake next to her and get her legs all wet.
Anyways, more tomorrow.

Our Family Pond
It is not very big. We bought it at a store. So anyways, we put the pond in, the koi in, water plants in and then the toads came. Not just one or two but like 10. All night long they talk to each other. You can even hear them with the windows shut. It is so funny. So now my Mom says we will be infiltrated with bumpy toads. I think she means we will have way more than we want. One problem though, I just found out Koi EAT tadpoles. So when the egss come I will have to move them elsewhere. That got my Mom's eys to roll up in her head. So that is all for now. I will write tomorrow.

The pond and guess what I found!
Well last night both toads laid eggs. They were everywhere! My Mom got grossed out by them because they were all slimy. But there maybe a 100 of them. My Mom said they probaly won't all hatch (I think she hopes that none will) and if they do they might not make it to toad size. Well, we will see!
Now the suprise. I was out in my backyard playing with Bindi and when I looked up and saw a little basket hanging. It turned out to be an Oriole nest hanging. I took some pictures. It is really cool. My Dad got to peak inside when he was on his tractor and said in the bottom is a little ball of color. My Mom got pictures of the Mom and Dad too. It was a lot of fun.
Well that's all!

Hay, Hay and lots of it!
Well today is the day my Dad finished droppin the hay field. My brother and I had to pitch in and help move stuff in the barn. In a few days our barn will have so many bales of our first cut for all our horses come fall. As the hay comes in on the bales wagons my Mom and Dad have to unload it. Each bale weighs about 40 pounds and there is like 135 bales on each wagon. There are so many wagons. I will try to get pictures of my Dad baling the hay and post them. Till next time,

Already July?????
Gosh I can no believe it is July already. We were really busy the last few weeks. So much has happened. We baled up all the hay and we had an awful lot of it too! Then my toad eggs hatched and those Koi ate all my tad poles. I was so mad! Then all the baby birds left their nests and I missed it. The the worst was today! My Mom was feeding my big turtle (his name is Tuck) and he though my little turtle's head was a cricket and he grabbed it. My Mom made him let go. If we were not there he would have ate his head off. So my Mom said back in the house they go. So again today we are cutting grassy hay. I have to babysit my older brother while my Dad cuts it. Fun. Anyways I will write soon.

My Mini-Rex
My Dad took my brother and I to the town fair. We went to see the horse show. It was going way to slow and way to many people. So we went and looked at the animals. My Dad said we could stop by the bunnies and guess what!! He bought me a 2 year old black mini rex girl bunny. They call them does. She is so pretty. She feels like velvet. My Mom felt sorry for her because it got hot out and now she lives in our dining room where it is air conditioned. I will get pictures of her and put them on here. So be sure to come by again so you can see them.
